CyntientOps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the CyntientOps mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

• Photos and Videos: Images and video captured through the App for documenting property conditions, maintenance work, compliance evidence, and building inspections. These are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure.
• Work Activity Data: Shift schedules, task completion records, clock-in/clock-out timestamps, and building assignments related to your work activities.

2. How We Use Your Information

All information collected is used exclusively for app functionality:

• Authenticating your identity and managing your account
• Assigning and tracking property management tasks
• Documenting building conditions and maintenance activities
• Verifying on-site presence at managed properties
• Providing real-time weather data for work locations
• Generating compliance and operational reports for property managers
• Enabling communication between team members

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Photos and videos are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage buckets with row-level security policies.
• Authentication is managed through Supabase with secure token-based sessions.
• We do not store passwords in plain text.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• Within Your Organization: Property managers and supervisors within your company may access work-related data (task completion, photos, schedules) as part of normal operations.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (cloud hosting, authentication) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Tracking and Analytics

We do not use your data for tracking or advertising purposes. The App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs. Location data is collected only when you are actively using the App for work-related activities.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Work documentation (photos, videos, reports) is retained according to your organization's property management record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

8. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for professional use by property management workers and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
